Through gentle yogic practices, Jenn empowers individuals to grow and transform toward their personal goals by exploring the deepest and most subtle parts of the body and of life. She believes in focusing on the inner experience first to explore a yoga practice that feels personally nourishing and supportive. Jenn is experienced in working with folks with chronic pain, injury, anxiety and depression, trauma, and specializes in working with the spine. Jenn encourages a client-led approach that celebrates each person’s unique expression in their practice. She has found yoga to be personally empowering, transformative, and sustainable in cultivating her own healing and meaningful experiences through physical injuries, mental health, and day-to-day living.
Jenn provides practical tools to meet you exactly as you are in your life, with the belief that yoga is a way of life rather than a separate part of life. In a yoga therapy session, specific yoga therapy applications are utilized to address and support individual mental, emotional, and physical conditions and wellbeing, and to work in conjunction with other therapies.
Jenn is a Certified Yoga Therapist and Advanced Teacher of Yoga with over 1000 hours of training, specifically trained in the therapeutic benefits of yoga. Jenn continuously takes new courses to embody her personal practice and deepen her knowledge of yoga. She is especially passionate about yogic philosophy and honouring the wholeness of the yogic tradition. Jenn recently studied a traditional yogic text, The Bhagavad Gita, for a year under the guidance of a reverent teacher.
Jenn starts her mornings with Cha Dao, “the way of tea” a Chinese tea ceremony tradition as a way to ground and connect. She is a nature and animal lover, and thrives when travelling and exploring new places.
