It’s a true privilege to partner with people through their healing journey and to see them achieve their highest possible level of function. I believe that education in this process is key. By helping people understand their injury and providing tools to remedy symptoms we can see real results. I use a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), soft tissue work, and progressive exercise to correct muscle imbalance and restore pain free movement. With over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist in Vancouver, I focus on treatment that is effective and tailored specifically to your needs and goals. I aim to encourage and motivate my clients to help them see their full physical potential.
Through my own injuries running, playing soccer, swimming and snowboarding I have developed a special interest in foot and knee injuries. I have also overcome several bouts of chronic pain by implementing a technique called Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Contrary to what many believe, this has given me hope that chronic pain can be cured, rather than just managed. I believe in the importance of lifelong learning and I am regularly furthering my education by taking advanced physiotherapy courses. In my free time I enjoy running, biking and chasing after my two boys in Vanier Park.
